Heard are various stations working or trying to work w1uuu in massachusetts including stations in the dominican republic, argentina, the ukraine, trinidad and tobago, colombia and florida. Some stations are heard better in pa, some better in the uk. Lots of static crashes heard from late spring lightning storms hundreds or thousands of kilometers away from both receivers. This is a recording of the audio transmission of the digital mode jt-65 through a yaesu ft-950 amateur radio on the 20m band. Information on jt-65 can be found at http://physics. Princeton. The file was trimmed with audacity and exported as a wav 96khz file.

I switched on and off an old tape recorder. You can hear hum noise like an early synthesizer. The reason why it makes such noise is not sure, but that's the most important part of analog devices. Computer software cannot do that.
